The highly anticipated inaugural Paradise City Rock Festival, scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, in Auckland, has been canceled due to disappointing ticket sales.
In an announcement made on Facebook, promoter Good Vibes Promotions revealed that the event, which was set to take place at the Trusts Arena, will no longer proceed.
“We really wanted to provide Paradise City Festival punters with the type of festival that we expect for our attendees,” the statement reads. “Unfortunately, due to low ticket numbers, we were unable to provide this experience. These decisions are never easy, but that left us with no choice but for Paradise City Festival to no longer go ahead.”
