Australian country music star Brad Cox will headline this year’s Sunset Bash festival in Penrith.
The festival will return to Panthers on Saturday, September 20. Tickets will go on sale next week.
Brad Cox is known for his genuine spirit and down-to-earth style. He has made a strong mark on the Australian music scene with many chart-topping albums and hit singles.
Joining Cox this year is Amber Lawrence, a six-time Golden Guitar winner and 2023 Female Artist of the Year. Lawrence is also a favorite at Sunset Bash and performed a surprise set in 2024. She recently released a new single called “Comeback Queens,” a lively party anthem.
The lineup will also feature Jeremy Turner, Tori Darke, and new talents like Linc Phelps, Abbie Ferris, and Felicity Kircher, the 2024 Toyota Starmaker winner known for her alt-country style.
As always, the festival will offer more than music. Attendees can enjoy line dancing, fashion stalls, food trucks, and entertainment by Ryan Gallagher, a reality star and country music fan, who will serve as MC. DJ Cass Hopetoun will keep the party going late into the night.
Malcolm Lancaster, director of Music Trolley, said, “We have a small but passionate team behind Sunset Bash. Being here for three years and growing fast shows that passion.”
He added, “Every year, our ‘Sunset Bash Family’ gathers for a great day of live music, good friends, and fantastic vibes as the sun sets. We can’t wait to welcome them back to The Backyard at Panthers Penrith.”
