ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Canadian pop-rock band Marianas Trench, known for their seven Juno Award nominations and five triple-platinum hits, will perform at Archer Music Hall in Allentown on Tuesday, October 7, as part of their newly announced The Force of Nature Tour.
The band, which won Group of the Year at the 2013 Juno Awards, will be joined by pop-punk group The Summer Set. The Summer Set, known for their 2009 hit “Chelsea,” has released three albums that charted on Billboard’s Top 100.
Tickets for the show will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 9, through Archer’s website and box office, located at 939 Hamilton St., Allentown. Ticket prices have not yet been disclosed.
Marianas Trench formed in 1999 and released their debut album, Fix Me, in 2006. Their second album, Masterpiece Theatre (2009), went triple-platinum in Canada and featured the hits “All to Myself” and “Cross My Heart.” The album also produced double-platinum tracks like “Beside You,” “Celebrity Status,” and “Good to You.”
Their third album, Ever After (2011), also achieved triple-platinum status and included hits like “Haven’t Had Enough” and “Stutter.” Their 2015 album Astoria earned platinum certification, with the double-platinum hit “Who Do You Love.”
Marianas Trench has released a total of six albums, with their latest, Haven, released last August.
The band has performed at major events, including the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and the 2015 Pan Am Games. Lead vocalist Josh Ramsay also earned a Grammy Award nomination for co-writing and producing Carly Rae Jepsen’s Diamond-certified hit “Call Me Maybe.”
