Rock legends Manic Street Preachers and Suede will tour the UK and Ireland together next summer.

The two bands have a long history together, having first toured Europe together in 1993, and last year sharing the stage for a new run across the US.

They have two shows left in Tokyo, Japan on November 18th and 19th.

Then, in June and July 2024, the ‘A Design For Life’ and ‘New Generation’ groups will come back home for the huge outdoor shows.

The run kicks off in Llangollen, Wales on June 28 and concludes in London’s Alexandra Palace Park on July 18.

Both bands will take turns closing the shows.

The tour news comes as the Manics have been busy working towards a follow-up to “The Ultra Vivid Lament”, which reached No. 1 in September 2021.

As for Suede, they are riding high on the success of their 2022 LP ‘Autofiction’, which reached number two in the Official UK Album Chart.

The acclaimed record was Suede’s highest charting LP since 1999’s Head Music.

They also had their own sold out UK tour in March.

Suede have had three number one albums in the UK, but frontman Brett Anderson is of the opinion that they still have “a lot to prove”.
