Two senior arts administrators specializing in international orchestral touring have joined IMG Artists, leaving their previous roles at the Intermusica agency. Vanessa Tsoi has been appointed as the new Vice President of International Orchestral Touring, and Claudia Stott will serve as Senior Manager of International Orchestral Touring. Both will work under Peter Ansell, the head of IMG’s international touring department.
Tsoi brings a wealth of international experience in classical music to IMG, having previously served as Associate Director of International Touring at Intermusica. Her career spans key roles at prominent organizations such as the Southbank Centre, KD Schmid, the Hong Kong Arts Festival, and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. She holds a music degree from the University of Hong Kong and a master’s in arts administration and cultural policy from Goldsmiths, University of London.
Stott has a diverse background in artist management, project coordination, and international touring, with a particular focus on classical music. She has worked in London and Paris and spent three years in the International Touring department at Intermusica. Stott earned her degree in Drama and Theater Arts from the University of Birmingham and has also worked in television.
Peter Ansell, Executive Vice President of IMG’s international touring team, expressed excitement about the new appointments. “I have had the pleasure of working closely with Vanessa and Claudia for several years. Their professionalism and extensive experience in orchestral touring, particularly in Europe and Asia, will be a great asset to IMG Artists and the world of classical music.”
