Charli XCX is moving on from her “Brat” era, but her passion for creating dance floor hits with friends remains strong. One of those friends is fellow British artist PinkPantheress.
On May 12, PinkPantheress revealed that Charli XCX is on her collaboration wish list, and Charli quickly shared an encouraging response online. In an interview with Paper Magazine, PinkPantheress expressed her excitement about the possibility of working with Charli.
When asked about the idea of making music with Charli, PinkPantheress enthusiastically said, “Of course, if the opportunity ever comes up, I would love to.” She added, “It makes me nervous when I get recognition from artists I admire. I get so excited when they acknowledge me.” PinkPantheress also noted, “It’s always thrilling to get praise from artists I’ve looked up to for a long time, even though I’ve met her.”
After the interview was published, Charli XCX responded with a simple, “Well hello,” on X (formerly Twitter).
