Focal Naim America, the North American distributor of consumer and professional electronics, has unveiled two new HD audio playlists. These playlists feature tracks “Mixed on Focal” professional monitors and are now available to Focal Hi-Fi and Pro Audio dealers, the Press Corps, as well as current and potential customers.
The first playlist, “Mixed on Focal #6,” includes 50 stereo tracks mixed by notable engineers such as Jeremy Mang, Luca Pretolesi, Robert Guzman, and several others. These tracks were mixed using Focal’s professional monitors, including the Trio11, Trio6, Twin6, Solo6, Shape Twin, Shape 40, and Alpha Twin Evo.
Romain Vet, VP of Sales and Marketing at Focal Naim America, highlighted the importance of providing listeners with an authentic experience. “Listeners want to hear music the way the artist intended,” Vet said. “Now, Focal allows them to do that by offering high-resolution streaming playlists, mixed on Focal speakers, the same speakers used to create the tracks. The ‘Mixed on Focal’ playlists are a great way to showcase the exceptional sound quality of our products.”
The second playlist, “Hip Hop / Rap Vol. 2,” features over an hour of music curated by Leslie Brathwaite (known for working with Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, and Migos) and Bobby Campbell (known for his work with Logic, Juicy J, and Blu). Both engineers contributed to the “Mixed on Focal #6” playlist as well. Brathwaite mixed his tracks, including Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning “Cowboy Carter,” using Focal Twin6 and Sub12 monitors, while Campbell worked with Focal Trio11 to mix his tracks, including “Not a Game” from Logic’s “Aquarius III” album.
These two new “Mixed on Focal” playlists are available now for streaming on HD audio services such as Apple Music, Qobuz, Tidal, Amazon Music, and Spotify, which plans to introduce a future CD-quality tier. New playlists will be released periodically to continue highlighting Focal’s exceptional audio products.
